Like many Hollywood stars, Selma Hayek has secrets when it comes to her beauty and exercise regiment and she recently revealed them to People Stylewatch.

The stunning Mexican actress has never looked better. So how does the 48-year-old mother of one do it? Always wash your face, she claims. The actress revealed this to be the best piece of advice she has ever received, which she said contributes greatly to her radiant complexion.

"I had a great mother who gave beauty advice to me, which is wash your face before you go to sleep -- no matter what," said Hayek. "She and my grandmother told me, 'You have to do this for yourself. Just think about how much faster you're going to age if you don't.'"

While it may be a simple task, Hayek credits this with being the single most important thing she does to keep looking good. She claims to wear a good amount of makeup often but states that she allows her skin to breath as much as possible.

As for plastic surgery, Hayek reveals she is all natural and hopes to stay that way, but she doesn't denounce possibly doing it in the future. Botox, however, is a different story. Unlike many of her peers in Hollywood, Hayek does not believe getting Botox does you any good.

"I don't believe in Botox, especially when people do it so young," she said. "'Do it young, so you never get wrinkles.' No, your face is going to fall. You'll have to keep getting more and more and more each time. So if you're going to do it, I recommend doing it as late as you can," advised the actress.

As for her exercise routine, the actress told Vogue that she doesn't have one. If given the opportunity, the fit Latina explains she will attempt to be active as much as possible, but that does not require hours at the gym.

There is also no waist training for Hayek.
