Bill Cosby's wife of more than half a century has been ordered to submit to a deposition hearing stemming from all the sexual assault allegations recently lodged against her husband.

Yahoo! reports Camille Cosby is scheduled to take the stand on Jan. 6, in Springfield, Massachusetts in a defamation case recently filed against the "Cosby Show" actor by seven different women.

Nearly a year ago, Camille adamantly defended her husband against all the sexual abuse accusations he now faces, some of which go back more than 50 years.

At the time, she described her now 78-year-old spouse as "a kind man, a generous man, a funny man, and a wonderful husband, father and friend."

In a statement, she later added "a different man has been portrayed in the media over the last two months. It is a portrait of a man I do not know. It is also a portrait painted by individuals and organizations whom many in the media have given a pass."

Camille Cosby later hinted that she now feels her husband is the real victim in the entire episode, which has left the legendary comedian vilified and stripped of many of the honors and platitudes he has received over the years.

He has denied all the allegations raised against him and has never been criminally charged stemming from any of the claims. The "Which Way Is Up Star" actor is also slated to be deposed in the Massachusetts case his on Feb. 6.

The actor has also previously been deposed by famed civil right attorney Gloria Allred in a case where former Playboy bunny Judy Huth claims he drugged and sexually assaulted her at the Playboy mansion more than 50 years ago when she was just 15 years old.

In a rare occurrence, Bill and Camille were publicly spotted outside their New York City home last week, walking arm and arm.
