The Legends patch for "Need for Speed" is set to roll out this week for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It adds new achievements, cars, collectibles and music. Best of all, it's absolutely free.

Ghost Games content manager Ben Walke took to the official "Need for Speed" website to announce that the update increases the game's REP level to 70. Players can unlock a new decal for every REP level acquired between 61 and 70. Three new achievements trophies have been added: Zero to hero, Eddie is back and Hit the ceiling.

Legends lets players customize brake discs and calipers. The update delivers improvements to game stability, phone calls and AI. There are also new pre-set wraps based on prior NFS games. Diehard fans of the long-standing racing game franchise might recognize the following:
