An unfortunate divorce between Mandy Moore and ex-husband Ryan Adams has been continuing since January until now, with Moore's latest filed a petition asking for spousal support to take care of her home including their eight pets, reports confirm.

People reports that the famed singer and "A Walk to Remember" actress is seeking spousal support to cover her home expenses including her eight dogs and cats that she used to own with Adams back when they were married.

"I feel as if I have no alternative," Moore said in court documents obtained by the publication. "Although I love our pets, it is overwhelming for me to take care of eight of them all of the time," Moore added.

The reason she is asking $36,794 monthly from Adams, according to E! News, is because she has this problem of going to work and taking care of their pets. Moore had to "cancel a prior work engagement because my housekeeper was ill and unable to stay with our pets while I traveled for work ... Without Ryan's help caring for the house and our pets, I have not been able to work as much as I would like," she wrote as quoted by People.

Furthermore, E! News reports that aside from spousal support, Moore is also asking for $100,000 in attorney fees and costs. She is also asking $50,000 to her accountant beside her request from Adams to "contribute to the care of and expenses related to the parties' eight pets by assuming responsibility for at least four of them," Moore said as quoted by the news agency.

Meanwhile, despite Moore's fame and success in Hollywood, she revealed through court documents that her monthly income isn't enough to cover all the expenses she had to keep up with. Moore pays more than $37,000 a month in expenses, including her mortgage, more than $11,000 for her clothing expenses brought about by her work and more than $3,000 for a housekeeper, not to mention $2,600 for pet walking, food, supplies and other pet care needs.

Moore works 40 hours a week as an actress and singer and makes more than $31,000 a month, which includes royalty payments. She lists more than $335,000 in assets. Apparently, Moore's current lifestyle and commitments are the reason why she is asking for spousal support from Adams, who reportedly gets $151,300 a month.

There is still no decision in their divorce as of the moment and Adams has yet to comment on the matter.
