Famed four-piece girl group Little Mix is facing backlash on social media after their performance at the BBC Music Awards last Thursday at the Genting Arena in Birmingham alongside other special performers including One Direction, Ellie Goulding and James Bay.

Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, who makes up the band famous from "X-Factor," were set to perform their hit track "Black Magic." However, social media users started reacting when the group hit the chorus part of their song and were accused of miming.

Although the four ladies in warrior princess outfits were phenomenal while performing and dancing to their hit single, Metro reported that the group were still slammed to be singing with a backing track during the chorus.

Several users on Twitter were bold in their statements, claiming that Little Mix was noticeably miming during their performance. "I can't work out whether little mix are really good or miming the chorus. It sounds way to similar to the recorded version #BBCMusicAwards," one user wrote on Twitter.

Another user wrote on Twitter, "Gutted if little mix were just caught miming then. Defo heard the track playing once they stopped @BBCR1 @LittleMix #BBCMusicAwards #mixers."

Meanwhile, as the comments kept backlashing the group, Little Mix was quick to deny the claims.

"The girls were singing live," the group's representative said in a statement to Metro. However, the four girls -- Edwards, who won "Woman of the Year" for Fabulous magazine, Nelson, Thirlwall and Pinnock -- have yet to comment on the allegations.

During the event, awards were given out including the Best British Artist and Best Live Performance. Bot were awarded to "Hello" singer Adele, who was absent to receive the awards.

Taylor Swift was also one to grab some goodies, receiving the Best International Artist. The "Shake It Off" singer prepared a recorded message for the event while being in Australia, expressing her gratefulness for the accolade.

Edwards, who will be on the cover of Fabulous magazine for its December issue, will reportedly speak up about her past relationship with ex-boyfriend and former One Direction member Zayn Malik and how her heartbreak made her stronger.

The magazine will feature not only Edwards' exclusive interview and photos but also the rest of the 2015 Women of the Year list including a feature of a Christmas lingerie. The issue is out in newsstands this Dec. 13.
