Pitch Perfect star Anna Kendrick did not disappoint as last week's Saturday Night Live host. The Tony nominated actress stuck to her roots and showed off her pipes, comedy skills, and even her dance moves. The night was very theatrical to say the least. Our rating? A+ for Anna!

Kendrick kicked off the night with an ode to Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

"I got my start in musical theater," Kendrick told the audience. She continued, "When I was ten, my dad took me to see Beauty on the Beast on Broadway and I just knew I wanted to be up there, so to be here on this New York stage is so incredibly exciting. It just feels like something out of a story book."

Kendrick's quick introduction segued into the actress's spoof of Belle's "Bonjour" song from Beauty and the Beast along with the SNL cast.

The celebration did not stop there though. Kendrick also took on the role of a pop singing version of Ariel from Disney's The Little Mermaid.

One of the top moments in the show included the all-girl musical number called Dongs Of All Over the World. The sketch featured Kendrick, Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, Cecily Strong, and Sasheer Zamata all singing about their sexual conquests amid their search for the perfect "dong." Icona Pop even made a cameo in the musical sketch number.

Other highlights of the show include Anna Kendrick and Taran Killam's French dance sketch titled Les Jeunes de Paris, where you can see Kendrick making a reference to the Pitch Perfect hit song, "Cups." Kendrick and SNL musical guest Pharrell also performed a sketch together, but it was Pharrell's infamous mountain hat that was the butt of all jokes and stole the spotlight.

Pharrell ended the show with his own musical performance of his songs "Happy" and "Marilyn Monroe."
