Singer and former child actress Selena Gomez fuelled romance rumors between her and One Direction singer Niall Horan once again when she appeared to another of the band's live performances last Sunday night at the "X Factor U.K." finale, where the band had their last hurrah before their 18-month hiatus.

Indeed, the last performance of One Direction for this year before taking an 18-month break is one that shouldn't be missed. And for Gomez, she definitely made herself available and was spotted by fans at the backstage hanging out with Horan's friends, E! News reported.

The publication revealed that the "Come and Get It" singer was in her casual yet stylish clothes wearing a green jacket with a tank top underneath while attending the show.

The news comes after Gomez broke her silence about the circulating rumors claiming that she and Horan are dating.

"Oh my god! No," Gomez stressed during an interview with ET at Billboard's 10th Annual Women in Music event in New York City last Friday. "I love him, I always have. He's amazing," she added.

Aside from her love life, the "Hands to Myself" singer also took the time to address rumors claiming that she was performing to a pre-recorded song during her performance at the recently televised Victoria's Secret Fashion show.

"I just felt like for me, I am in a place where it is my right to say something and defend myself, because I'm always kind, I'm always nice," Gomez told the news agency of her Instagram response towards her haters. "Every now and then I deserve to say what I feel," she added.

Meanwhile, One Direction singer Styles also recently had something to say about his feelings regarding their hiatus. Writing on Twitter a special message for his fans, Styles wrote, "To you, you have changed our lives and no words will ever be good enough to thank you for what we have done together."

Simon Cowell, the person who formed the band and "X Factor U.K." judge even reiterated that the group deserves a break from their hard work. "Enjoy the time off, have a fantastic time. The thing I'm probably most proud of is who you've all become," Cowell shared in the video presented during the show as quoted by E! News. "I'll always be there," he added.

Furthermore, the band promised that the break will not be too long and the group will be bringing back new material upon their return.
