The New York Giants and Miami Dolphins will face off on Monday Night Football in a big inter-conference game.

New York Giants (5-7)

This is an absolute must win game for the Giants if they still want to win the NFC East this season. Both the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins won their respective Week 14 games, so the pressure couldn't be higher on Big Blue.

The Giants have lost each of their last three games, the last one being an overtime loss to the New York Jets. The Giants defense has been absolutely pitiful this season. Tom Coughlin's squad ranks dead last in yards allowed, passing yards allowed, and they are not getting pressure on the quarterback.

At 5-7 things look really bad, but Eli Manning and the Giants aren't out of this just yet. A win on Monday night would create a three way tie at 6-7 in the division. A loss would be a huge setback. With just one playoff appearance in the last seven years, Coughlin could very well be on the hot seat.

The Giants play the Carolina Panthers next week.

Miami Dolphins (5-7)

Like the Giants, the Dolphins also find themselves at 5-7. Unfortunately for them, they play in the AFC East with the New England Patriots and New York Jets. The Dolphins are going to miss the playoffs yet again.

And again, like the Giants, this team really hasn't had much defense throughout the year. The Dolphins ranks 28th overall and 24th against the pass. We may be in for a high scoring game tonight. Dolphins corners are going to have to lock on Odell Beckham to have a chance in this one.

The Dolphins defeated the Baltimore Ravens in their last game, but they've still lost four of the last six matches, and major changes have to made this offseason. Many fans are wondering if Ryan Tannehill can be the franchise quarterback.

The Dolphins play the San Diego Chargers next week.

Schedule

The Giants and Dolphins will play each other on Monday night at 8:30 p.m. ET at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida. The game will be on ESPN. You can watch a live game stream here.

Prediction

Neither team has played great this season, but the Giants are the ones playing for a playoff spot. This should be a close high scoring game that goes down to the wire. In the end, the Giants should find a way to prevail and lock in a three-way tie in the NFC East heading into Week 15.

Giants win 38-35
