The waiver wire is absolutely critical for Fantasy Football owners everywhere. Staying on top of free agency can make or break your team every week. Disappointing play and injuries often lead to Fantasy Football owners checking their waiver wire to help aid their roster week in and week out.

Here are five players you should consider singing off the waiver wire this week.

1. Denard Robinson

The Jacksonville Jaguars absolutely annihilated the Indianapolis Colts this week, 51-16. Denard Robinson is starting to get more involved with the offense like we saw last year. Robinson had a season high 75 rushing yards this week, granted a lot of it came in garbage time. The Jaguars also gave Robinson a season high 14 carries. Good news for Fantasy Football owners: Robinson is available in most leagues, and the Jaguars take on the Atlanta Falcons defense next week. This could be a great addition for you.

2. Brandon Bolden

New England Patriots running backs are hurting this year. Dion Lewis is already gone for the season and now LeGarrette Blount is down with a hip injury. Do yourself a favor and pick up Brandon Bolden. Bolden is used to playing in this system as he has been part of the Patriots roster since 2012. Bolden stepped up big time on Sunday Night Football in Blount's absence with 16 carries and 51 yards. The Patriots take on the Tennessee Titans next week, who rank 17th in rush defense. Don't be surprised if the Patriots begin to use Bolden in the passing game more as well.

3. Ryan Fitzpatrick

Why not? The New York Jets are finding their stride, and Ryan Fitzpatrick is playing far more than just "good enough" right now. Fitzpatrick has now thrown nine touchdown passes to zero interceptions over the last three weeks. Pretty impressive considering he started the year out as the projected backup quarterback. His 25 touchdown passes this season is a career high, and there's a good chance you need to grab a quarterback. Peyton Manning, Andrew Luck, Andy Dalton, Joe Flacco, Tony Romo and so many others are out. The Jets take on the Dallas Cowboys next week, who are all but eliminated from the playoffs.

4. Tim Hightower

It's been a pretty miserable season for the New Orleans Saints. At 5-8, their front office is already looking at what they can improve upon in the offseason for next year. For Fantasy Football owners who need running back help, you may want to consider Tim Hightower. Mark Ingram is out for the season with a shoulder injury and Khiry Robinson is done with a leg injury. Next man up. Hightower played great against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with 85 rushing yards and a touchdown. He's the full time starter now, so if you desperately need running back help, grab him off waivers while you still can.

5. Ted Ginn

The Carolina Panthers are a perfect 13-0 this year despite the fact that Kelvin Benjamin is out for the year. Cam Newton is making the most of his weapons, especially Ted Ginn. Ginn is one of the best deep threats in the league, but he doesn't have the best hands. He showed elite speed on Sunday with two catches, 120 yards and two touchdowns against the Atlanta Falcons. Greg Olsen, Newton's favorite target, suffered a knee injury against the Falcons. It doesn't appear to be serious, but you know Ginn will keep getting the ball thrown his way. Ginn will face the New York Giants secondary next week, who rank dead last in passing yards allowed.
