Microsoft is apologizing for problems that users have experienced with the new Surface Pro 4 tablet and the Surface Book laptop. Customers have complained about several different issues on various websites.

Microsoft has seen the complaints and is planning to release updates and fixes to address the problems, Tech Radar reports.

Users experienced screen flickering issues, a power issue that kept the devices on when they should have been going into hibernate and other small issues.

The power issue involved the devices staying on and wasting battery when they should have been in either hibernate or sleep mode. When users were ready to use either the tablet or laptop, they found that the battery was much lower than they though it would be.

Microsoft says it is hearing users' complaints "loud and clear" and they thank them for the "candid feedback." The company says it plans to use the feedback to create the updates and fixes.

The Surface Team says they are working the hardest on the most critical problems and have already released some updates to address them.

Right after the release of the two new devices, Microsoft was forced to send out several updates to address glitches and bugs. One of the updates actually caused the new Windows Hello feature to crash.

Microsoft promises that future updates and patches will be released to  "to further improve the overall Surface experience." Microsoft will want to test these updates before releasing them.

The way that the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 were released was not very smooth, but they are still two premium devices with excellent specs. Once Microsoft finds a way to solve these issues, the two devices should be able to remain in competition with other premium tablets and laptops. Since Windows 10 is still very new, there is bound to be some initial errors, but there should not be this many issues with two new premium devices.
