The 2015 Miss Universe pageant will be airing on Dec. 20 on Fox.

Beauty queens from 80 different countries will be taking part in the competition, which will be held at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Take a look at the 20 Latinas who will be competing at this year's Miss Universe pageant and who may possibly take the place of Miss Universe 2014, Paulina Vega.

Argentina: Claudia Barrionuevo

Born in Salta, Argentina, the 24-year-old model is studying educational psychology and speaks both English and Spanish.

Bolivia: Romina Rocamonje

The 23-year-old was born in Santa Cruz and is currently studying in veterinary school. She is the only girl in a family of seven children.

Brazil: Marthina Brandt

The 23-year-old speaks a total of four languages, including Portuguese, German, Italian and English. She enjoys cooking, skating and horseback riding.

Chile: Maria Belen Jerez

The 25-year-old was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and moved to Chile when she was 8 years old. She is currently studying to be a dentist.

Colombia: Ariadna Gutierrez-Arévalo

The beauty from Sincelojo speaks Spanish, English and German. She is 21, an animal lover and considers the late Princess Diana as one of her idols.

Costa Rica: Brenda Castro

Castro was born in the city of Guápiles, Limón Province. The 23-year-old began her modeling career when she was 15 and is currently studying psychology.

Dominican Republic: Clarissa Molina

The 24-year-old beauty queen revealed being bullied as a young immigrant in New Jersey because she didn't speak English. She revealed that actress Eva Longoria inspired her to get a college education and stay in touch with her roots.

Ecuador: Francesca Cipriani

The 23-year-old is an international business management engineer and enjoys extreme sports. She has even swum with sharks.

El Salvador: Fatima Rivas

She was born in Santiago Nonualco, La Paz, El Slavador. She is one of six daughters and knows a lot about agriculture because it is part of her family's business.

Guatemala: Fabiola Jeimmy Aburto

Aburto is of Guatemalan and Mexican decent. Aside from modeling she is also a professional singer and a skilled dancer, she has taken lessons in belly dance, flamingo, theatrical and Latin dance.

Honduras: Iroshka Elvir

The 24-year-old from Tegucigalpa writes poetry and represented Honduras in the Central American Games for speed skating.

Mexico: Wendy Esparza

The Mexican beauty queen attended Loyola University in Chicago on a full scholarship, interned at Univision and has a degree in Journalism with a minor in Latin American Literature. She hopes to work in broadcast television.

Nicaragua: Daniela Torres

Torres studied tourism and hospitality management in Nicaragua. The 25-year-old hopes to be a motivational coach and works with Corazon Abierto, an organization that helps children with cardiac disease.

Panama: Gladys Brandao Amaya

Before becoming Miss Panama, Amaya was the host of a TV show about real estate projects and is currently in her second year of acting classes at a prestigious theatre.

Paraguay: Myriam Arevalos

Arevalos, 22, graduated in 2014 with a degree in International Relationships and hopes to someday become an ambassador for Paraguay.

Peru: Laura Spoya

The 24-year-old from Lima is a sports journalist who enjoys cooking Peruvian and Italian food. She loves animals and works assisting animal shelters.

Puerto Rico: Catalina Morales

Morales, 25, is currently a law student at the University of Puerto Rico, where she also graduated with a B.A. in Communications. She wrote a book about her experience dealing with her father's battle with pancreatic cancer after he died and donated part of the proceeds to the American Cancer Society.

Spain: Carla Barber Garcia

Garcia, 25, speaks Spanish, English and German. She attended the University in Madrid and studied medicine and surgery. She specializes in plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine.

Uruguay: Bianca Sanchez

Sanchez, the youngest Latina in the competition, is 18. She speaks Spanish and Portuguese. She enjoys swimming and dancing.

Venezuela: Mariana Jimenez

The 22-year-old from Caracas is studying communications. She hopes to be a sports journalist, her favorite sport being baseball, and is currently the host of a TV show.
