Jordan Smith has been crowned Season 9 champion of "The Voice."

People magazine reports The Team Adam crooner walked away with the title Tuesday night, besting a final four crew of runner-up Emily Ann Roberts and Barrett Baber and Jeffrey Austin.

After host Carson Daly announced Smith as the victor, the 21-year-old Kentucky college student was joined on stage by his coach and family. In a matter of minutes, he broke out in a tearfully inspiring version of "Climb Every Mountain."

Leading up to the night's most magical moment, Smith provided yet another one of them with his sparkling duet with Usher of the latter's dance hit "Without You."

Smith had been a favorite of the coaches and fans alike ever since he nailed Sia's hit "Chandelier" during blind auditions. His greatest moment of the competition arguably came earlier this month when he took the stage to perform a rousing rendition of Queen's "Somebody to Love."

"I don't need to say anything at all because that's one of the best things I've ever seen in my entire life," Levine said.

The recording later raced to the top of the iTunes chart, ending Adele's five-week run with "Hello." On Monday, he again topped the iTunes charts with his version of the Christmas classic "Mary, Did You Know?"

"The Voice" returns to the airwaves for Season 10 in 2016, with Christina Aguilera expected to replace Gwen Stefani as one of the judges while she concentrates on making new music.

"I don't want Gwen to not be on the show," coach Blake Shelton recently told reporters of his new girlfriend. "Why can't we have a fifth coach?"

Tuesday's season-finale was a who's who of performers, with Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Missy Elliott, Coldplay among those taking the stage for songs.
