Are former Destiny's Child members Beyoncé and Michelle Williams feuding?

Williams, 33, joined Beyoncé, 32, and Kelly Rowland, 33, as a member of Destiny's Child in the early 2000s. Since the group's other original members, LaTavia Roberson, LeToya Luckett, and another replacement, Farrah Franklin, all left Destiny's Child on less than stellar terms, people are often quick to suggest that Williams and/or Rowland have issues with Beyoncé.

"It seems to be a mystery, or a wonder, like, if we're still friends or something," William said in an interview with TIME.

Williams insists that her and Queen B are close, however. She even says thinks of Beyoncé to help her get through her most embarrassing moment, which she defines as "with Destiny's Child, we know the infamous fall." (The fall was a quick, but very noticeable dip during a performance on BET's 106 & Park. You can check it out here.)

"Yes. That happened. And literally, I had no choice but to keep going," Williams recalled. "It's live television. But I have fallen along with the best of 'em-Madonna, Usher, Robbie Williams, my good sister Beyoncé. So I'm in the fall of fame....Y'all can pay me for that one later!"

Williams also recently recorded a song called Superpower with her former bandmate.

"Yes, to round it all out, we still support each other," Williams explained. "We're still amazing friends. Whether it's to support each other musically, or just personally, when we happen to be in the same city..."

Williams does not get why people like to pit her against Beyoncé.

"And I always wonder, what is the fascination?" she asked. "This is a genuine question."

The gospel singer, whose next album, Journey to Freedom, drops this year, is surprised that people even still care.

"I'm just curious, like, we [Destiny's Child] haven't had an album out in 10 years," Williams said. "I'm just still wondering the fascination. And I'm not being mean or smart. That is a real question. Like, really?"

The trio's friendship, however, does not necessarily mean we will see a Destiny's Child reunion soon.

"To be honest with you, that's just something that we never talk about," Williams shared. "That is the elephant that's in the room at times."

Williams does have one minor issue with Beyoncé, however, though it seems forgivable.

"I don't know if it's laughter of shyness or embarrassment because ... everyone was listening. I'm like, 'That's private girl,'" she told Us Weekly in January. "We aren't supposed to know all that."

Williams is currently the spokeswoman for Playtex. Starting June 9, she will be doing an arena-tour of Jesus Christ Superstar, which features another former pop band member, *NSYNC's J.C. Chasez.
