As part of its holiday sale, T-Mobile is currently offering Samsung's high-end Galaxy smartphones at considerably reduced prices.

The magenta carrier announced on its official website that from Dec. 18 to Dec. 23, it will be slashing $100 off the usual price of the Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+ and Note 5. To top it all off, T-Mobile will also be throwing in free one-year subscription to Netflix for every purchase of any of the aforementioned devices.

Cost-effective deals often have a catch, and this latest one from T-Mobile has quite a few of them. The discount only applies to those who subscribe to the carrier, more specifically through T-Mobile's equipment installment plan.

Contrary to what T-Mobile is advertising, the free Netflix subscription isn't given away freely. Buyers of the high-end Galaxy smartphones will need to apply for one of the carrier's Binge On video streaming plans.

Binge On lets customers stream unlimited video without using a drop of the total data allowance. Customers don't have to pay a single cent for their video streaming, unless they disable Binge On while watching videos.

Interested taker should also bear in mind that third-party subscription charges do apply. According to T-Mobile's Binge On webpage, certain streaming partners such as HBO, Showtime and Starz require the use of high-speed data on the carrier's network.

The $100 discount on high-end Galaxy smartphones is valid until Dec. 23th, but the free Netflix subscription deal lasts until the end of the year. Also, it should be noted that existing Netflix customers will receive a 12-month account credit.

This promo is the latest of many T-Mobile deals for the holidays. Just last month, the carrier announced, through T-Mobile News, that it's offering a new color option for the Galaxy Note 5. The Gold Platinum Edition comes in 32GB and 64GB native storage variants

The lesser capacity version costs $0 upfront and $29.17 per month for two years. The higher capacity version requires customers to pay $100 upfront and 24 payments of $28.34 per month.

Those in the market for an unlocked version of the Galaxy S6, without Netflix subscription, can head to this link. Popular e-commerce site eBay is offering the 32GB model for just $400.

The Galaxy S6 rocks a five-inch 1440 x 2560 touchscreen display, Samsung's quad-core Exynos 7420 processor, the Mali-T760MP8 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage and a 2,550 mAh battery, as per GSMArena.

The smartphone is equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera that supports LED flash, autofocus, touch focus and optical image stabilization. Meanwhile, its five-megapixel selfie shooter is capable of Auto HDR and dual video call. Android 5.1.1 is pre-installed.
