Hulu's Latino-centered series, "East Los High," has been renewed for Season 4, making it the first Hulu Original to hit the milestone.

The series, which focuses on the problems faced by inner-city Latino youth in East Los Angeles, will be back for Season 4 in 2016 with 12 brand new episodes, according to press statement from Hulu.

The show has received a lot of praise for its realistic and relatable portrayal of Latino teenagers in urban communities, making it a unique contrast to other hit teen shows like "Gossip Girl" and "Pretty Little Liars," which depict the unrealistic lifestyles of upper-class white teenagers.

"East Los High" is the first English-language show to have an all-Latino cast and production team, whose families hail from a variety of different Latino countries.

First premiering in 2013, the series was created by Carlos Portugal and Kathleen Bedoya and is executive produced by Portugal, Bedoya, Katie Elmore Mota, Mauricio Mota, Carlos Reza and Troy Combs.

Season 1 made the series one of the top 10 most popular shows on Hulu and Hulu Latino, reported Variety.

Shortly after premiering Season 2, the series was renewed for Season 3, which then garnered more attention with the casting of singer and actress Christina Milian.

Milian played a music producer named Liliana who works at R&R Records. Liliana became Camila's (Vannessa Vasquez) mentor to help her pursue her dreams but eventually realized that career goals are not the only thing that the teenager needed guidance with.

While Season 4 will definitely bring a lot more drama, including relationship troubles, high school drama and family problems, the series is asking fans on social media to share what they would like to see happen.

A video of Vasquez, asking fans to comment with their ideas on what they think should happen in the new season, was posted on Instagram on Dec.17.
