There are times when horror TV shows can go from great to pure awesome. Last Saturday on the "Ash vs Evil Dead" was one of those times.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Ash finally took that trip back in time, rather a trip to a time long past, and revisited the original cabin from 30 years prior when he had first awakened the Deadite plague and sealed his legacy.

What's even more awesome about the episode is it also had a familiar face in it, at least one that was almost familiar to fans. His girlfriend from the original movie, Linda, was still in the tool shed where he left her severed head in a vice just after he decapitated her reanimated body.

To make matters worse, Amanda had followed him to the cabin in hopes of helping him wipe the plague out. He reluctantly takes her into the cabin with him and goes to tool shed to get a crowbar, where he meets up with Linda's "head in a vice," still locked there from three decades ago. She seems to still be the young woman he left there as well.

While Ash battles it out with flying saw blades and other tools in the shed, Amanda is still in the cabin when an Evil Ash appears, trying to play himself as the real Ash. He is apparently the reanimated body from his severed hand, who also followed them to the cabin.

He tries seducing Amanda and just as she lets her guard down and kisses him, he sticks her in the neck. She then stumbles and falls on a deer head's antlers, impaling herself.

Ash finally breaks loose from the tool shed and runs to the cabin, albeit too late. He stays by her side until she dies then goes to war with Evil Ash. The episode ends before fans could see how that turned out.
