Taylor Swift recently surprised a 13-year-old cancer patient by stopping by her home and spending time with her.

The 26-year-old "Bad Blood" singer took a trip to Grand Junction, Colorado where Delaney Clements, a young girl suffering from neuroblastoma, lives, and showed up unannounced, according to E! News.

"Literally speechless right now!!!!! My new best friend (as I call her now ) made a special stop from going home to Tennessee and surprised me and gave me the best present/ hugg ever!!" Clements wrote on Instagram Saturday afternoon while also posting a photo of her flashing a huge smile with the singer. "Thank you !! I love you!! Happy holidays!!"

Swift gave Clements a shout out on social media to as well, writing, "Merry Christmas Baby @delaneyy.bugg."

Clements was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in 2010 at the age of eight and has had the cancer return four times. She has since gained a hefty following on social media. With the help of all her followers tweeting the hashtag #DelaneyMeetTaylor, she got the Swift's attention.

"So happy for my baby girl," Wendy Campbell, Clements' mom, wrote on Facebook after the visit. "Thank you Taylor Swift for the best Christmas present ever."

During the visit Clements is seen giving Swift a huge and posing for several photos with the singer alongside her friends. Campbell recently announced that, unfortunately, hospice care was in Clements' near future.

"We are so blessed to be surrounded with so many wonderful people who love and care for us and forever grateful for all the support we have received over the past five years," she shared on Facebook. "Our goal now is to keep Delaney as comfortable as possible and keep her spirits uplifted as she travels on a journey we fought so hard to avoid."
