Saturday marked the 20th anniversary celebration of Turner Classic Movies at the Turner Classic Movie Classic Film Festival. Comedic legend Jerry Lewis was an honoree at the festival that was held at the TCL Theater in Hollywood, and was commemorated during a hand-and -footprint ceremony that Lewis described as "incredible." Lewis, his wife, and his daughter Danielle, who he adopted in 1992, were all in attendance for Lewis's big day.  Lewis also brought his equally big and bold personality to the event.

USA Today reports, he took his own pictures of the assembled guests from the stage, made funny faces, led the crowd in an impromptu version of Silent Night, cracked jokes and even bit Quentin Tarantino on the hand -- prompting the fellow director to exclaim happily, "I just got bitten by Jerry Lewis."

Lewis also poked fun at the photographers who snapped his photo during the ceremony. He jokingly bossed the photographers around and asked them to move in different positions and strike different poses. Lewis exclaimed that he wanted the photographers to "learn how it felt" to have their picture taken.

Aside from being a funny man, Lewis has also been known to stir up controversy. In the past, Lewis has received backlash for his comments that expressed his dislike towards female comics when they are "being crude." He addressed his past comments by saying, "Seeing a woman project the kind of aggression that you have to project as a comic just rubs me wrong. And they're funny -- I mean you got some very, very funny people that do beautiful work - but I have a problem with the lady up there that's going to give birth to a child -- which is a miracle," Lewis said. "But when you have women like Carol Burnett, that's the greatest female entrepreneur of comedy. I just saw Carol at the Smith Center at home in Vegas, and I was stunned by how brilliant she is and how brilliantly she brings the audience right up to her.

Tarantino introduced Lewis during the ceremony and had nothing but positive things to say about the 88-year-old honoree, who is best known for his slapstick humor and outlandish character.

"I really think this man is a treasure," said Tarantino. "He is one of the great actors/directors in the history of cinema."

Lewis later left the handprint ceremony to introduce a special screening of The Nutty Professor.
