Having big butts continues to be a rage among few women, according to plastic surgeons. In 2015 alone, there has reportedly been an increase on the number of women requesting to have their butts implanted to life it up and make it look fuller like the famous buttocks of Kim Kardashian-West and Amber Rose.

The official data proving the increase in butt implants and butt lifts from 2014 to 2015 are yet to be released next month. However, a representative for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons told the New York Post that 2015 proved to be another busy year for the surgeons because of the increase in demand for the said beauty operation. The spokesperson likewise said the trend "is definitely still growing."

People who have requested for butt implants reportedly also varied in ages, according to Daily Mail. For the operations done in 2014, 20 percent goes to the women between the ages of 20 to 29. Likewise, 39 percent of women aging between 40 to 54 years old and 34 percent to those ranging from 30 to 39 years old also had butt implants.

Dr. Matthew Schulman told the New York Post that he still expects an increase in butt implants or butt lift operations in the coming months. The plastic surgeon, who reportedly specializes in the Brazilian butt lift, claimed women living in the Big Apple are particularly conscious with their butts.

According to the New York Post, the doctor is hailed as the most successful butt augmenter in the Northeast. He reportedly sometimes gets worn out after every Brazilian butt lift operation, which supposedly takes over three hours to finish.

Schulman revealed some of his patients would even bring photos of celebrities whose butts they would like to mimic. Among those common "wish pics" his clients would reportedly bring include Kardashian-West's described as "big, with projection," Sofia Vergara's butt as having its "proportionate voluptuousness" and Jennifer Lopez's "big and muscular" butt.

According to Daily Mail, British women also used Kardashian-West as their inspiration during butt augmentations. So, it's not just in the U.S. that women are jumping on the bandwagon of having full butts.

Nicki Minaj is also often referenced by Schulman's clients for having "big hips" as well as Jessica Biel's "perky and bubbly" buttocks. However, Schulman told the New York Post that he is not confident his butt augmenting business will last forever since, eventually, the trend of having a slim athletic look may one day also become a trend.
