It is indeed another year for everyone, including the characters in Port Charles. "General Hospital" spoilers for the first week of 2016 starts off with a new development in the lives of Jason Morgan, Sam Morgan, Liz Webber and many more.

When the New Year's Eve had many at the edge of their seats after Jason and Sam almost kissed, Monday's episode kicks off with the scene when the two were leaning in for the anticipated smooch, and, all of a sudden, Jason's former lover Liz calls and interrupts the two with news about their son Little Jake.

The newest struggle for Jason's life involves his son's mental problems. Apparently, Little Jake does a lot of actions and orchestrates several deeds that makes his parents question his mental abilities. Soap Shows reveals that Liz may soon realize what is wrong with his son.

And as Jason gets busy trying to give more attention to his son and his family including Liz, he starts to forgive her. Because of this, Sam will be troubled about her relationship status with Jason, but Damien Spinelli will be stepping in to assure the lady that she still has her man.

Meanwhile, Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that a new drama will unfold involving Johnny Zacchara and Lulu Spencer as the two will sneak around behind Dante Falconeri. The previous episode already showcased Johnny and Lulu's potential affair after they had a passionate kiss together, and as the New Year begins, the two will take their relationship in a deeper level by going to bed.

The publication reveals that spoilers for this week involve Johnny trying all sorts of strategies just to get Lulu to go to bed with him. Even if Lulu tells him that when Dante finds out, he will lock Johnny out and kill him, Johnny remains to be persuasive and determined to finally get back on Valerie Spencer.

Other spoilers for this week include Franco Baldwin and Nina Clay. The two are also showing their steaming love affair, with Franco determined to show his love for his lady by inviting her for a love-making session. The two will be successful even when Nina previously felt undesirable because of the thought that she was cheated on by Silas Clay in the past.
