"The Young and the Restless" CBS drama this week, Jan. 4 to Jan. 8, will be filled with tension and anxiety for Billy Abbott and Ashley Abbott. The Abbott family will remain tensed as the two fight for their lives at the hospital.

Not one but two critical conditions are being faced by the residents of Genoa City. After a mysterious accident of Billy at the parking garage of the casino, this week, the series will reveal that Noah Newman is at fault for Billy's condition, Soap Shows reveal.

Furthermore, the publication suggests that after a long mysterious health struggle, Ashley's condition will be finally known. It will be revealed that she has a brain tumor that may be incurable so she will go and ask Dr. Neville for help. However, she will be in a tough place to decide if she wants to undergo a very difficult medical procedure or not.

The two patients are in two very different situations, but both are filled with the same fear of losing their lives because of their health conditions. Not only is Billy struggling in fighting for his life but also because the person responsible for his condition is refusing to step forward and admit his wrongdoings.

On the other side of the story, the past year had been tough for Billy as Celeb Dirty Laundry revealed that Jack Abbott apparently didn't loan him the money he asked for, which Phyllis Summers believed to be the reason he went and gambled that night as he wanted to support his business.

Meanwhile, the tensed situation will become even more difficult as Marisa Sierras, who saw the whole thing, will choose to keep her mouth shut, delaying the justice that Billy deserves. Paul Williams will question Marisa at the police station; however, Marisa will simply say that it was dark so she didn't see what took place.

But what she really saw was Noah driving off. She goes and tells Noah what she witnessed him do. Noah, feeling guilty, will realize that he did feel a bump on his way out. This will prompt him to go to the police and come clean.

However, Marisa will urge Noah not to make the risky deed even if it will help Billy's case. Meanwhile, Victor and Victoria Newman will finally go to the hospital to see Billy, which will anger Jill Abbott, but the couple will assure Jill that they are investigating the incident as well.

More will occur on the dramatic New Year of "The Young and the Restless," which airs weekdays on CBS.
