Season 5 of AMC's The Walking Dead premieres in October. Until then, fans can get ready to see the return of a familiar face as well as a new one.

Season 4's finale left fans with (at least) one burning question: What happened to Beth Greene? The character played by Emily Kinney has been missing since episode 13 of season 4. Lucky for Beth fans, however, Kinney recently confirmed that she will indeed return for season 5.

"Beth is somewhere, but we don't know where, and you wont find out for quite a few months I guess," she said in an interview with SN TV.

The 28-year-old actress and singer encourages fans to make their own theories as they wait for the answer to be revealed.

"People are just going to have to come with own conclusion, their own ideas," Kinney said.

According to Kinney, some fans have suggested that Beth was the meat seen on the grill at Terminus which was cooking "Beth burgers."

"When I go through the airport the TSA people are like 'Where'd you go, Beth?'" Kinney shared.

It's a joke Kinney hears often, but the actress is thankful that viewers got so entwined in season 4.

"Seeing people's reactions to season 4, I think it was just a blast and one of the best seasons that we've had," she explained. "Obviously the show is still just gaining momentum, and gaining fans and gaining viewers, so I think season 5 is going to be just that much better and that much more exciting."

A new actor is also getting ready for season 5: UGA football player-turned-actor Chase Vasser. The 22-year-old is confirmed for an unknown role next season.

"bad timing to say I've never watch an episode of the Walking Dead. Gotta Catch Up ASAP!," Vasser said via Twitter on Apr. 14.

Could Vasser be playing a Terminus cannibal?

"It's Official! Tune in on Oct 13th on AMC for The Walking Dead! #cannibaltwist," Vasser said according to Comicbook.com in a tweet that has since been deleted.
