Shakira recently shared one of her ultimate goals in life -- the Colombian singer will one day be the first lady of Barcelona when her partner Gerard Piqué becomes the president.

A few months ago, the Spanish soccer player talked about his ambitious desire to become the chairman of his professional club, Futbol Club Barcelona, in the future. "Who knows, maybe I'll become the president of FC Barcelona one day," he confidently said.

Also, the "Can't Remember to Forget You" singer added on Piqué's previous statement in an interview with Bocas magazine. "I think that Gerard will someday be president of Barcelona when he retires from playing -- and I will be the first lady, but of Barça, not of any country," said Shakira.

Although the couple made it quite clear that they want to take over a crucial role beyond the centre-back's retirement, it seems that Gerard Piqué does not plan to move into the boardroom any time soon, as he still has plenty to achieve out in the field, starting off with Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid on Wednesday night, before going through a late fitness test.

Piqué is currently playing for competitive Spain -- both world and European champions -- which is hoping to win the crown in Brazil this summer. Off the game, the 27-year-old Barcelona defender enjoys being a dad to his adorable son, Milan. "I love being a father," he said. "I've matured a little and now I'm much better at changing nappies and I sleep less regularly."
