The long wait for Season 3 of the hit post-apocalyptic CW show "The 100" is about to end. Fans are finally going to get to see the aftermath of Mount Weather and where Clarke (Eliza Taylor) ended up after all this time.

Carnage was all that was left by the end of Season 2, when the show left fans with a cliffhanger that found Clarke spiraling away from her people, according to Spoilers Guide. She was in a state of shock and, ultimately, a total state of guilt, leading her to finally decide to leave everyone behind and seek out a new purpose for her life.

In the Season 3 premiere, there is no doubt that she has been her own worst enemy during her time away. She has been alone and living in seclusion for three months. But when she happens upon a woman at a trading post, she starts to break away from her depression and maddening isolation.

Here is where the season really starts to take shape. No matter where Clarke goes or how well she hides, there is always going to be someone who wants her. So when there is a price put out on her head, Bellamy (Bob Morley) and Kane (Henry Ian Cusick) venture out to find her and bring her to safety, even though she is deep in Grounder territory.

But Clarke is not having any of that because she is still riddled with guilt. It was her own people she was trying to save in Season 2. In the end, she could not handle the consequences of her actions, and it broke her.

The odds are going to be stacked against her and Bellamy, but they will both do their best to compromise for the sake of safety.

Episode 1 is titled "Wanheda - Part One" and will air on broadcast network The CW on Thursday, Jan. 21 at 8 p.m. ET. See a preview for the episode below.
