Xbox Live Gold subscribers can now pick up "Star Wars Battlefront" for $40 on the Xbox Store. For the same price point, Microsoft console users can buy the standard edition of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" on Amazon, GameStop and Toys R Us.

The Xbox Countdown Sale is still alive and kicking. Its latest batch of Xbox Live Gold games include "Fallout 4" for $50, "Rise of the Tomb Raider" for $40, "Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition" for $24, "Zombi" for $13, "Velocity 2X" for $10 and "Alien Isolation" for $7.50.

Those who purchase an Xbox One on Best Buy will be eligible for a 40 percent price cut on three months of Xbox Live Gold. Over at Newegg, the promo code EMCKNPK53 will net costumers a 70 percent discount on "Forza Motorsport 6," bringing its price down to just $35.
