"Transformers: Age of Extinction" will feature some of the similar elements that the past movies have, but there will also be significant changes.

Here's what to expect for the new movie, set to come out July 27, 2014:

Character Changes

Sam Witwicky, played by Shia LaBeouf, is gone. The new leading man will be Cade Yeager, played by Mark Wahlberg. Yeager will have a daughter, Tessa (played by Nicola Peltz), and she'll have a boyfriend Shane (played by Jack Reynor). Cade enters the story when he buys a broken down truck, which turns out to be a Transformer. That Transformer is Optimus Prime. Optimus Prime has sustained substantial damage and when Yeager discovers that the junked truck he has bought is really Optimus Prime, he rebuilds him and gets him charged up.

Joshua, played by Stanley Tucci, is an inventor who learned how to build his own Transformers

Kelsey Grammer plays a government official, Harold Attinger who is behind an operation to get rid of the remaining Transformers on Earth.

Additional Autobots

Not only are there new human characters, "Age of Extinction" will showcase some new Autobots. Of course, Optimus Prime and Bumble Bee will return, but there's more. Hound is an Ironhide-sized scout that transforms into an Oshkosh Defense Medium Tactical Vehicle. Crosshairs is a crack shot weapons specialist that transforms into a green 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray. Finally, Drift will be a Samurai-like Autobot that transforms into a black and blue 2013 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse.

Decepticons

These are the bad guys. Lockdown, who transforms into a black 2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, will be one. He steals parts from fallen enemies and adds them to his body. Galvatron, who transforms into a 2014 Freightliner Argosy cab over trailer truck, appears in the trailer, as well.

Dinobots

There will be Autobot/Dinobot relations. In the movie trailer, relations start out a little rough (Optimus Prime punching a charging Grimlock), but Autobots and Dinobots will likely work together to stop Decepticon.

An Optimus Prime Clone?

Kelsey Grammer's character and the government will likely create a clone of Optimus Prime, Nemesis Prime.
