Miami Dolphins announced Thursday that their organization will be the first in the National Football League (NFL) team to hold "multiple international cheerleader auditions" this spring in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil and Argentina.

"We are looking for beautiful women with great personalities and charisma that can cheer our fans," said Dorie Grogan, director of entertainment and brand impact for the Dolphins.

According to CBS Miami, it's the first time that the NFL team has hosted an international cheerleader auditions such as this.

Once chosen, future cheerleaders must know how to prioritize their obligations and also be willing to attend all the scheduled rehearsals during the entire season. They must also have to relocate or live in South Florida with a means of transportation to be able to attend practices without hassle and lesser cost.

Aspiring cheerleaders should be female and it's also a must for them to have a valid passport. Applicants must also be a high school graduate before June 2016 and at least 18 years old by May 1.

The Miami Dolphins Preliminary and semifinal auditions will be on April 23 at the Miami Dolphins Training Facility. Registration of applicants will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Schedule for tryouts will begin on March 3 at the JW Marriott Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Followed by March 6 at the Sheraton Buenos Aires Hotel y Centro de Convenciones in Bueno Aires, Argentina, and March 12 at a yet-to-be-announced location in Mexico City. The search will resume on April 2 at the Four Points by Sheraton Bogota Hotel in Bogota, Colombia and April 23 at the Dolphins training center in Davie, South Florida. Final auditions will be held on May 1 at Nova Southeastern University.

Grogan expects at least one representative from each country in the United States will join the team. She also added that though she is really very excited about it, as of the moment, she is still uncertain of how many beauties will be coming from the Latin American countries.

"We are excited to combine the beauty we have in South Florida with the ladies we meet in Latin America in hopes of forming a truly international squad. Miami is the gateway to Latin America and the Miami Dolphins are a global brand," added Grogan.

The Miami Dolphins Cheerleading Squad, one of the most well-known entertainment groups in all professional sports, has traveled in over 30 countries in five continents over the past 10 years.
