On Tuesday, April 22, Riot Games, developer of massively popular competitive PC game "League of Legends," disclosed the latest addition to their game's roster of playable characters. Braum, the new champion, is called Heart of Freljord, was teased in trailer released on April 18 before being officially unveiled today on Riot's website. The new champion is aimed at providing a new type of defensive strategy and its most notable ability according to games reviewers is his effectiveness at protecting teammates combined with the toughness of a tank. Although his damage output is relatively limited, he can slow down opponents long enough for allies to make up the difference.
