After the game-changing patch for "Clash of Clans" last year, the community has been waiting for the next one that's promised to provide fixes for issues that emerged in the game. Finally, the update has landed, but the question remain: did Supercell deliver?

The first update of the year brought a number of significant changes, particularly in the addition of several features in "Clash of Clans," according to a report from Gotta Be Mobile. Most prominent is the Treasury, which is a new building in Clan Castles that keeps the bonus loot from Clan Wars and Star Bonuses safe. War Loot Storage was scrapped from the screen and the capacity of the Treasury will depend on the levels of Town Hall and Clan Perks.

The Daily Star Bonus is another addition to the game, and it also seeks to address the issue of not being able to earn enough items or money. This assures players that they can get bonus loot everyday from winning five stars in multiplayer battles. The Loot Cart is also a new feature, appearing in the village post-attack. This allows the players to recover 20 percent of the resources lost in the raid, although the Loot Cart cannot be collected if the player's storage is already full.

Other tweaks include three times more damage to Golems and Golemites with the Eagle Artillery, as well as Second Air Defense, which can now be unlocked in Town Hall 6 and the third in Town Hall 7. Meanwhile, the following fixes have been addressed in the new patch: skeletons getting stuck in walls, ability to donate multiple Dark Spells and upgrade issues.

The additional features seem to be a good move for Supercell to address the difficulty of loot collecting in the "Clash of Clans" after the last upgrade. However, the new patch was not without its own issues upon its release.

According to a report from iDigitalTimes, some players reported an error in downloading the update, specifically one that said, "Your device is not compatible with this version." It was discovered to affect different Android phones, not just a specific brand, model or OS version.

Supercell went on Twitter to provide a fix for the players, telling them to go to the Settings app in the device, open the App Manager, open Google Play Store and then clear the data or cache from there. The iDigitalTimes report also suggested signing in and out of the Google Play Store and undergoing a soft reboot on the mobile, reinstalling the application or even installing the "Clash of Clans" through the .apk file.
