The Rock made his return to WWE on last week's episode of Monday Night RAW in his hometown of Miami, Florida. According to the WWE.com recap, "The Great One" interacted with The New Day and The Usos, but he went off script before the segment during one of his promos involving fans dressed up as The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, "Macho Man" Randy Savage and The Rock.

In a report by the Wrestling Observer via The Inquisitr, Vince McMahon and several executives backstage was unhappy with The Rock for interacting with those four fans. They reportedly got escorted out of the arena for unintentionally distracting the audience during the Kane vs. Bray Wyatt match.

The fans were let back in the arena and to their seats after agreeing to behave, but caught the attention of The Rock. WWE officials were reportedly "freaking out" as these fans are now getting television time despite causing some problems earlier in the night.

The Rock even commented on the situation after getting some praise from fans on social media for his entertaining promo. "Ha well at WWE events, going 'off script' is what I live for. So much fun for the fans. Nightmare for Vince," The Rock wrote on Twitter

.

The Inquisitr report added that The Rock can do anything he wants as his status within the company is as untouchable more than anyone else besides John Cena. The belief backstage is that if anybody else went off script like that, McMahon will surely hand him or her a pink slip immediately.

However, it's not the only part of The Rock's return that garnered some attention, as his backstage segment with Lana about an obvious sexual encounter was criticized by Alex Groot of Vocativ. He called the segment as well as other instances when Lana was taunted on television as a "looming sexism problem" for the WWE.

The company already released a statement regarding the issue as quoted by Wrestle Zone.

"WWE programming, which features fictional characters that cover a range of personalities similar to movies and television shows, tells stories of good versus evil. In addition, as our on-going storylines develop, we will continue to position women as both strong competitors and compelling individuals," WWE said in a statement.

But there were some good news as the wrestler-turned-actor's return was huge for WWE as it gave RAW the ratings boost it needed heading into WrestleMania 32 in Dallas. Wrestling News World reports that last week's RAW averaged 4,098,333 viewers which were 600,000 more than the MLK Day episode.
