The Milwaukee Bucks are reportedly open to making big moves before the annual NBA trade deadline on Feb. 18, as their playoff chances continue to dwindle.

According to Gery Woelfel of Journal Times, the Bucks, who are currently in 13th place in the Eastern Conference standings, are open to trading Greg Monroe and Michael Carter-Williams for the right offer.

Monroe, who is averaging 16.6 points and 9.7 rebounds this season, is playing in his first season in Milwaukee. The 25-year-old center turned down offers from big-market teams like the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks last summer to sign a three-year, $51.4 million contract with the Bucks.

While Monroe is almost averaging double-double this season, the report revealed that the five-year veteran, who has 26 double-doubles this season, is a dispensable assets because of his defense and inability to protect the rim, as he is averaging just 0.9 blocks per game.

"Monroe is being targeted as one of the primary reasons for the Bucks' defensive deficiencies this season," Woelfel noted. "After being one of the elite defensive teams in the league last season, the Bucks are now one of the worst, giving up 103.3 points per game compared to 97.4 last season."

Carter-Williams, the 11th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, could also change zip codes before the deadline. Woelfel said that the former Syracuse standout is on trading block because of his inconsistencies this season despite averaging 11.5 points on top of 5.6 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game.

Carter-Williams was acquired by the Bucks from the Philadelphia 76ers before the deadline last year, which was a surprising deal, considering the fact that MCW won the 2014 Rookie of the Year award. The gambit backfired, as the Bucks went on a downward spiral after the trade, where they parted ways with Brandon Knight.

One league executive also confirmed that the Bucks are expected to make a major move before the deadline. Jabari Parker, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kris Middleton are considered untouchables. But the executive added that a "crazy offer" could convince the Bucks to trade Parker or Middleton.

"From what I'm hearing is they are willing to trade anybody not named Parker, Antetokounmpo or Middleton," the league executive said. "I even heard they'd listen (to offers) for Parker and Middleton, but it would have to be some crazy offer. They want to do something; they know they have to do something. That group they have isn't working."
