It looks like February is going to be a tough month for One Direction fans as reports say that Harry Styles is no longer part of the famous British boy band and will soon be going solo, Us Weekly reports.

For months, rumors regarding the group's hiatus being permanent have circulated. The publication previously received information from a source saying, "The 1D thing just ran its course. They'll remain friends, but they are exhausted and want solo careers."

However, Billboard recently received a statement from Styles' previous management team, which also handles One Direction, confirming Styles' exit. "We wish Harry the very best. It has been a real pleasure working with him," Modest executives Richard Griffiths and Harry Magee told the publication.

"Harry is a total gentleman, and we know our good friend Jeffrey Azoff will look after him," the management executives added.

Meanwhile, The Sun reports that Styles will be now managed by a dear friend, Jeffrey Azoff. The publication said that a senior music source confirmed Styles' decision to cut his ties from One Direction band and its members: new father Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne.

"Harry is done with One Direction. He wants to completely disassociate with the band and that includes any professional connection," the source said as quoted by the news agency. "His new team will be about launching him as a solo superstar by around this time next year so the work is starting now."

Although Styles has yet to comment on the news of him exiting the band, the group hasn't showed any signs of finally retiring except their announcement of being on hiatus for a few months, Us Weekly reports.

The famous boy band has even denied rumors that they are splitting, according to Billboard. The group has said that their hiatus remains unchanged and that no other plans are announced except that.

"Nothing has changed regarding the hiatus plans for the group, and all will be revealed in due time from the band members' own mouths," a source told Billboard.

Meanwhile, Styles is also rumored to still be under Simon Cowell's U.K. label Syco Music, per The Sun. If the rumor is indeed true, the publication says that tStyles will remain with Cowell's label but on a solo career.
