"The Young and the Restless" continues this week with attacks and counterattacks between the characters, Soap Shows reports. The remaining days of the week will be featuring Adam Newman against Luca Santori and Sage Newman against Dr. Anderson.

The publication reveals that the middle of the week will be exciting and thrilling for avid viewers of the hit CBS series. Apparently, Adam is faced with the prerogative of making his own decisions for his father, even against his enemies like Luca.

So will Adam push through an attack against the Santoris? The news agency says that he just might. However, Luca may also foresee Adam's attack with the help of Marisa Sierras. The latter might go to Chelsea Lawson for some details regarding Adam's plans so she could give a heads up to Luca when the time comes.

But, as always in "The Young and the Restless," there will always be shocking revelations and interesting twists. Celeb Dirty Laundry reveals that Marisa will be too late and Adam will be successful in orchestrating a trap for Luca.

The publication shares that when Luca arrives at the Newman Enterprises, he will be fooled into thinking that Adam is talking to a federal agent and handing information. So Luca hands his own piece of document against Adam's father, Victor Newman, but will later be informed that Adam is just talking to a security personnel.

Adam will then threaten Luca, and the war kicks off from there, the news agency reports. Meanwhile, Sage may be in a lot of trouble after looking into Dr. Anderson, especially when she obtains information that could bring down the doctor.

But will Dr. Anderson let someone ruin her life? The news outlet reveals that she won't and will do everything in her power, including messing with Nick Newman, just to stop Sage.

The publication reveals that Sage will be so close to telling Nick about what she knows of Dr. Anderson, but she will be sedated after grabbing Nick's arm, thinking that she was attacking him. Of course, Dr. Anderson is behind this stunt, but Nick found a way to get inside Sage's room.

The two will then have a conversation about the mysterious findings that Sage knows. The news agency reveals that they will be talking about something involving paralysis. So would Dr. Anderson go down or will Sage just be in more trouble?
