Adriana Lima recently talked about her life as a model on her Instagram page. The Victoria's Secret angel also corrected the assumption that being a model is an easy job.

Lima shared a lengthy post on her Instagram on Wednesday, where she talked about her not-so-easy life as a model. She started her post by explaining that she is not complaining about her work.

"This is not a complain, just sharing a little bit of my life. Sometimes, people question, that model life is easy, and that's wrong, we work as hard as any other individual," Lima wrote on Instagram.

On her post, the 34-year-old also got candid about her day-to-day life as a fashion model. She admitted that being a model required a lot of work and determination. In her situation, Lima had to juggle her time as a mother to her two children with ex-husband Marko Jarić and as a famous model.

Lima also didn't shy away from posing a make-up free selfie to go along with her message. Lima's selfie revealed her tired eyes, which she said belong to "the face of a hard working model."

Despite her hectic schedule as a model, Lima reveals during an interview with Vogue magazine that she tries to remain happy. She tells the publication that happiness is one of her beauty secrets.

When asked what beauty advice she hopes to pass to her daughters, Lima said, "happiness is the best beauty trick." However, she also reveals that her ultimate beauty secret is coconut water.

Lima also proved her love for her modeling career in 2012 when she walked the runway for the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show just two months after giving birth to her daughter Sienna. Michael Olajide Jr., Lima's personal fitness trainer, revealed to People how the model was so determined to lose the baby fats so she could do her job.

"We were doing four to six hours every day, seven days a week," he said.

Lima's workout reportedly started at 9 a.m., where she indulged in core exercises. She also learned speed and power through several punching combinations. Leg exercises and jump ropes finished off her morning workout. By evening, she's back to the gym again with her trainer, according to People.

"She'd head home to be with the family and the babies and then, pow! She'd come back that night from 5 to 8 p.m. It was incredible to see that type of dedication and fortitude," Olajide told People in a previous interview.
