Since he is always away for work and his wife, human rights lawyer Almuddin, is also always away for work, the two always spend time apart. The actor, however, says that both simply makes sure that they don't spend too much time away from each other, and when they do, they Facetime, the news agency reports.

Yes, Clooney uses Facetime according to him. "Facetime -- we will do that but mostly it is trying to not go too long without being apart, and you do the best you can," Clooney shared as quoted by the news outlet. Furthermore, the "Ocean's Eleven" actor shares that so far, his married life works because they are able to manage well.

The high-profile Hollywood married couple even have time to spend movie premieres together. According to the publication, Clooney and Almuddin were recently spotted at the actor's "Hail, Caesar!" premiere.

Clooney, as usual, was smooth wearing a classic tuxedo while his lady wore a red skater gown. Meanwhile, People reports that Clooney wasn't always smooth when it comes to Almuddin. The actor revealed in a recent Ellen DeGeneres interview at the comedian's show "Ellen" just how his marriage proposal to Almuddin was disastrous.

The publication revealed that Clooney's then girlfriend was still surprised even after seeing her engagement ring before it was presented to her formally. Clooney revealed that he did all the romantic things that he could do to make the proposal perfect.

The news agency added that Clooney even cooked dinner and played some romantic music all for Almuddin. However, Almuddin handled the dishes and accidentally saw the engagement ring and when she saw it she simply said, "'It's a ring' -- like as if somebody had left it there some other time," Clooney told DeGeneres as quoted by the news outlet.

So according to Clooney, he just went with it, pulled himself together and asked the big question that obviously had an affirmative answer as the two are already on their second wedding anniversary.

"I said, 'I couldn't imagine spending the rest of my life without you,'" Clooney said as quoted by the publication adding, "And she kept looking at the ring and she was looking at me and she was like 'Oh my God.'"
