Paris Jackson, the daughter of the late Michael Jackson, recently took to social media to rant about having to live up to people's expectations. The teenager also revealed that she had been attending AA meetings, possibly for addiction.

Paris' rant was posted as a comment to one of her Instagram photo. The 17-year-old hit back at the negative comments other Instagram users wrote on her post.

According to The Sun, on her Instagram comment, Paris expressed her appreciation for the love and support people showed her. However, she also complained about having to live up to people's expectations of her.

"This is f****** ridiculous. I am expected to literally sit on my ass all day replying to comments people leave me (positive and negative)? It's so f****** selfish that I am literally attacked on ever f****** thing I post just because people that I DON'T EVEN KNOW aren't getting what they want," read her Instagram comment according to The Sun.

She also compared her situation now to what his father Michael experienced during his reign as the "King of Pop. " In the same Instagram comment quoted by The Sun, Paris had called the expectations placed on the late Michael as "f***ng ridiculous." She also reportedly wrote, "He didn't owe you anything, yet he was ripped to shreds DAILY." Paris said on her Instagram comment that she will not let what happened to her father happen to her.

According to outlet, Paris could also be suffering from a form of addiction. In the same Instagram post, she wrote about attending to personal matters and obligations, including attending AA meetings. However, she didn't reveal what the meetings were for.

A screenshot of Paris' lengthy rant is also shared by The Sun. Her complaints came after she shared a drawing of a woman and a skeleton on her Instagram on Wednesday.

In 2013, Paris grabbed headlines after it was reported that she had attempted suicide. According to Mail Online, the incident happened after she was informed of her familial connection to older brother Prince. She was reportedly left devastated when she was told that Prince could only be her half-brother.

According to Mail Online, Paris and Prince had initially thought that they share the same biological parents, with Debbie Rowe as their mother. However, learning about being only Prince’s “half-sister” reportedly brought depression to the teenager. The depression later prompted Paris to slash her wrist and overdose on pills on June 5.
