"Dance Moms" will get famed coach Abby Lee Miller back in episode six, but it won't be smooth sailing for her, the dancers or the mothers. From playing favorites to drama brewing between the mothers over the star spot, the show will be packed with significant events that could affect the future of the team throughout the season.

Playing favorites can spell trouble in any group and the next episode will show just how much. In a synopsis from TV Guide, it was revealed that the prodigal coach is choosing to focus on certain members of the team, leaving the others frustrated and likely confused with the direction of Miller for the future.

"Abby's back, but she's only focusing on the minis; and a new mini-auditions for the team," the synopsis revealed.

In a sneak peek video from the "Dance Moms" Facebook page, the mothers confront Miller about her interest in the competition and her student dancers.

It's not just Miller's dedication to the mini dancers that will cause a greater rift between her and the mothers of the show, but her decision to place Brynn Rumfallo in the starring position. The choice will reportedly attract the ire of the rest of the mothers.

The rest of the synopsis read, "Later, the moms complain when Brynn is chosen for the lead role in the junior team's only routine; and Brynn's future at the ALDC depends on a win with Maddie set to return next week."

According to a report from the Inquisitr, a previous episode already saw some conflict after Rumfallo allegedly stole the spotlight from Kendall Vertes during rehearsals. Jill Vertes, Kendall's mother, was outspoken in defending her daughter, particularly calling out Ashlee Rumfallo for thinking her daughter is going to be the next star of the dance company.

"Kendall K has been groomed to be the next star," Vertes stated. "There's a pecking order here at the ALDC and sister, you're in the bottom. I'm not going to sit here and let you take away everything that we have worked for. Not today, Satan."

The battle to the top of the so-called pecking order is likely to escalate even further throughout the season as Ziegler has announced her impending departure from the show. The young dancer is set to embark on a career beyond "Dance Moms" as TMZ reported that she's leaving the Lifetime show to star in the new movie called "The Book of Henry". Other cast members of the film are Naomi Watts, Sarah Silverman, Bobby Moynihan and Jacob Tremblay.

"Dance Moms" airs Tuesdays on Lifetime.
