"Clash of Clans" is gearing up for another major drop in March. The past few months have seen quite a few changes across the game for the Supercell best-seller and the latest details from the team revealed that this is another exciting patch that players will be eager to grab upon its release.

The much-publicized December update of the game was a game-changing experience, but fraught with user issues that Supercell has been fixing up since then. For the upcoming patch, the developer has their eyes set firmly in the future with hints on the upgrades and additional troops on the way, according to a report from Gotta Be Mobile.

The "Clash of Clans" team was active on Facebook following the announcement of the new Supercell game dropping soon. After denying rumors of shutting down the game, the official "Clash of Clans" Facebook account dished that the new update will hopefully be launched "before April". They also hinted at a "BIG" update being developed for the title.

Another juicy detail on the same Facebook thread is the inclusion of new troops in the next patch. The update will include a new Dark Elixer troop that will most likely be available at Town Hall Level 10 , the report from Gotta Be Mobile said. Supercell has admitted that they are "currently looking at TH10" for this update and with free spots in the Dark Spell Factory, there is potential for new spells as well.

Meanwhile, the Clash of Clans forum also provided a few likely scenarios for the upcoming update including the Dark Elixer unit that used to be part of "Clash Royale" and a troop called "Ice Mage" that might be able to freeze buildings for attacks.

These are only a few of the features set to make waves upon the launch of the "Clash of Clans" update. While Supercell has had limited comments on the patch thus far, they are likely to drop more information in the weeks heading into the release as they've done with the past updates.

Aside from the new patch, the Supercell family is up for a major shake-up with the release of the hotly-anticipated "Clash Royale" in March. The team confirmed its release for iOS and Android in a video posted at the official "Clash Royale" website.

The spin-off of "Clash of Clans" had a limited release back in January, earning them a lot of praise from gamers, according to Gamezebo. Are you excited to get a hold of "Clash Royale"?
