On the latest "Hart of Dixie," Lavon and AnnaBeth butted heads while Wade dealt with heartbreak.

In "A Better Man," Lavon (Cress Williams) tells Zoe (Rachel Bilson) that he's feeling low, seeing as AnnaBeth (Kaitlyn Black) is angry at him, he lost the country fair and he's the subject of the annual Owls' roast. Zoe tries to lift his spirits, but she cannot get him to cheer up.

Wade (Wilson Bethel) then tells Zoe that Vivian (Lauren Bittner) has been distant, and has been spending a lot of time with her ex, Charles. Zoe promises that she'll talk to Vivian to find out what's really going on.

Meanwhile, Lemon (Jaime King) is upset that she and George (Scott Porter) got an A- on their restaurant's health inspection.

George speaks to the Reverend about how he has developed feelings for an irritating woman (read: Lemon), and wants to get rid of those feelings. The Reverend then offers him a date with a visiting Sunday school teacher to get his mind off his romantic infatuation.

Later, Vivian tells Zoe that she's been avoiding Wade because her husband wants to get back together with her. Zoe says she'll keep the development a secret as long as she talks to Wade about the situation.

Lemon brings a pie to May, the health inspector who gave her an A-. May says she's upset because she's in a dance competition, and her partner is injured, so she can't perform. Lemon tells her she knows an excellent ballroom dancer who can dance with her that night.

Wade convinces Zoe to tell him that Vivian is thinking of getting back together with her ex-husband.

Meanwhile, an angry AnnaBeth tells the Owls that the Belles are not going to the roast, and will make their own event on the same night.

Wade shows up at Vivian's and tells her that he won't stand idly by and let Charles take her. She is taken by his romantic gesture, and they share a steamy kiss. Yet, later on, Vivian gets a proposition from Charles to move with him to Baton Rouge, where he has secured a new job.

Lemon talks to her father, Brick (Tim Matheson), about competing in the dance competition with May. He agrees, and the two hit it off. However, he gets a call about a medical emergency, and says he can't go.

Lemon then decides to don a suit and be her dancing partner. Lemon and May end up placing seventh place in the dance competition, and Lemon asks her to reinspect Fancy's.

They head over and find George and the Sunday school teacher in the trashed kitchen, both in their underwear and covered in whipped cream. Lemon is furious that their health inspection grade was dropped down to a C due to their antics.

Later, AnnaBeth and Lavon make up, and Lavon admits that he's been a jerk and stepped over the line.

Wade then goes to Zoe's, who is taking care of Harley. She tells Wade that Vivian has gone house hunting in Baton Rouge with Charles.

Wade, although dejected, gives Harley a gift and tells him that he'll enjoy Baton Rouge.

On the next episode, "Together Again," "Wade blames Zoe for his relationship problems, so she avoids him and tries to assist George, who's at odds with Lemon. Meanwhile, AnnaBeth's parents develop a bond with Lavon; and Brick helps Tom and Wanda deal with their infertility issues."

Watch the promo below for "Together Again," which airs at 9 p.m. EDT on Friday, May 2 on The CW.
