Mexican singer Paquita la del Barrio will be honored at the Feb. 18 Premio Lo Nuestro 2016 ceremony.

According to Univision, the legendary singer, born Francisca Viveros Barradas, will be honored for her long and successful career, which has spanned 45 years and includes countless of hits and pop culture influences.

In her music, the 68-year-old singer is known for challenging gender stereotypes and machismo in Mexican culture and has served as a Latino figure of feminism in Latin music.

The singer is known for popularizing the phrase "Are you listening to me, you good-for-nothing?" and for calling out cheating men in her music.

According to Telemundo 52, the news came just as the singer is preparing for a series of concerts in February to honor of her 45-year career anniversary.

The singer won't be the only musician honored at Premios Lo Nuestro 2016. Colombian singer Carlos Vives will also be receiving a special award.

Vives will be receiving the award for Excellence for his own influential career and will join the list of legendary artists who have received the award, including Celia Cruz, Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Juan Gabriel, Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony, Los Tigres Del Norte, Joan Sebastian and Luis Miguel, to name a few.

The 54-year-old star's career has spanned over 30 years. He has released thirteen studio albums and 30 singles. Vives will also be taking the stage to perform at the award show.

Also confirmed to be performing at the annual award ceremony are Thalía, Prince Royce, Maluma, Yandel, Marc Anthony, Pitbull, Gloria Trevi, Gerardo Ortiz, Calibre 50, Wisin, Chino y Nacho, Farruko, Zion & Lennox, Luis Coronel, Chiquis Rivera, Jesse y Joy and Banda Los Recoditos.

Attending the award show for the first time will be "La Banda" winners CNCO, who have also been added to the list of performers.

“Premio Lo Nuestro a la Música Latina” will air live from the American Airlines Arena in Miami on Thursday, Feb. 18.
