Viewers and comic-book fans can expect a lot more walkers than usual as the "The Walking Dead" Season 6 returns this weekend with its zombie-apocalyptic episodes, which will be darker than usual.

The Celeb Dirty Laundry revealed that the new episodes will finally reveal some of the bloody and critical actions written in the graphic novel, which, by far, haven't been part of the TV show.

Though most of the cast members are tight-lipped about where the story is heading, Andrew Lincoln, a.k.a. Rick Grimes, shared something that might give the viewers some ideas to expect from their beloved thrilling TV series. He also promised the viewers "the most ambitious, and the most epic and just insane, emotional, action-overload" TWD episodes they have ever filmed.

"I felt sick to my stomach when I read the script. It was the first day in the whole six years of working on 'The Walking Dead' that I was late for work because I woke up in the middle of the night and I get couldn't back to sleep," said Lincoln.

Lincoln also said that just by reading the script alone, the story made him feel so angry, frustrated and sick. Imagine if that is how the written version of the story would affect its readers, then how much more if that story were to be aired on TV?

As posted by Vanity Fair, if the show were to follow the same plot written in the comic book version, "TWD" fans can probably wind up and bid farewell to Alexandra Breckenridge's character, Jessie, and at least one of her two sons. But one thing's for sure, because the show has already renewed its contract for Season 7, if not Jessie, somebody has to survive the zombie-filled attacks.

Director Greg Nicotero said that the viewers can expect the "TWD" Season 6 finale be really "heartbreaking" and "relentless" because of the death of a major character. He also promised that as the zombies invade Alexandria, viewers can also expect more walkers that can fill their night with more creeps and fright.

"I felt that it was very important to introduce a bit of the genre element of the spooky, nighttime, boogeyman-coming-out-of-the-dark, Night-of-the-Living-Dead sort of vibe and feeling," Director Nicotero said.

With all that, expect that "The Walking Dead" will go out with crunches and bangs as the show returns. Check all that as it starts its new episodes on Sunday, February 14 at 9 p.m. on AMC.
