"Destiny 2" is coming and we have Activision to confirm that. According to Attack of the Fan Boy, during Activison Blizzard's quarterly earnings report, they also mentioned that they are expectating to release "Destiny 2" in 2017, but before that can even come to reality, Activision promises a huge expansion on the original game "Destiny" this 2016.

In Activision's financial report featured on Business Wire, the company highlighted the contribution of "Destiny" to their revenue. The report stated, "Activision Publishing's Destiny achieved record digital attach rates on its critically acclaimed Q3 expansion."

According to IGN, it was during last month that Activision announced the delay of the "Destiny" sequel and has targeted 2017 to release "Destiny 2." Bungie, however, assured fans that they are working to make the next sequel more interesting and exciting.

"We'll be plotting more specific waypoints as time goes on. Right now, there are hundreds of passionate people at Bungie working to turn the plan for Destiny's future into the adventures, dangerous enemies, and glittering treasures that await us," Bungie said on its website.

Meanwhile, on a forum on Bungie's website, the comapny released some new important information on "Crimson Days" and "Destiny" Update 2.1.1. The "Destiny" update requires players to log in again on their accounts to refresh and download the latest patch.

The company also said, "We're aware that some consoles attempt to verify all content (18+ gigs) of previously installed patches to ensure there are no issues with previously downloaded content. Do not cancel out of this verification, or you will be required to re-download all previous updates."

The page also gave some details on how players can get help regarding console requirements. For those who have encountered problems on the game's automatic download, Bungie recommends manually downloading the patch. However, for those who continue to meet some glitches while downloading, the Xbox and PlayStation Support will be available to answer most queries on download issues.

In another IGN report, it is expected that the first expansion for "Destiny" will have the same size as that of "Festival of the Lost." However, the second expansion will come as large as "The Taken King." The developers of Destiny has taken the time in consolidating everything they have in order to bring the best expansion, which is expected to be released this year.

"It's true that we've updated the playbook based on what we've learned to date, and to better tap into what makes Destiny unique," Bungie said as quoted by IGN.
