When we hear or read the words, "power couple," we often associate them to the rich and famous Hollywood stars. But did you know that there are several hot power couples in the world of finance?

These couples do not depend on the strength of their flawless good looks to earn large sums of money. Instead, they are powerful, privileged and exceptionally smart individuals who have managed to find romance and success in their crazy professional lives on Wall Street.

So, here are the top 10 power couples on Wall Street, as listed by Business Insider and The Richest.

1. Christopher O'Neill and Princess Madeleine of Sweden

Princess Madeleine is a Swedish princess who became the fourth in line to the throne in February 2012. O'Neill, on the other hand, is a British-born American financier who was a partner and head of research at a value-investing hedge fund, Noster Capital.

2. James Rothschild and Nicky Hilton

Hilton is a hotel heiress, socialite and fashion designer while her 30-year-old husband James is the banking heir of the late Amschel Rothschild, the executive chairman of Rothschild Asset Management Inc.

3. Olivier Sarkozy and Mary-Kate OIsen

Olsen, 29, along with her twin sister Ashley, are the owners of a fashion empire worth $1 billion. Sarkozy, 46, on the other hand, is the younger half-brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy and the managing director and head of the global financial-services group at Carlyle Group, a private-equity company.

4. Marc Mezvinsky and Chelsea Clinton

Clinton is the daughter of President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton. She has previously worked for Mckinsey & Co. and Avenue Capital, as well as an NBC correspondent. Mezvinsky, who has previously worked at Goldman Sachs and G3 Capital, is a partner at Eaglevale Partners LP.

5. Paul Arrouet and Dylan Lauren

Lauren is the youngest child and only daughter of fashion designer Ralph Lauren. She's the owner of Dylan's Candy Bar. In 2015, she was named as one of the wealthiest female CEOs who have a net worth of $7.7 billion.

Arrouet, on the other hand, is a managing partner at Marblegate Asset Management. The couple got married in June 2011 and they have two children via surrogate.

6. Dennis Paul and Coralie Charriol-Paul

Coralie is the vice president and creative director for jewelry and leather goods of Swiss luxury brand Charriol, which was founded by her father. While her husband Dennis is the founder of the hedge fund Ancormax Income Fund and cofounder of THYRA Global Technology Fund.

7. Teddy Wasserman and Nell Diamond

Diamond is a Yale School of Management graduate who launched her own business called Hill House Home. She is previously a Deutsche Bank institutional-rates analyst. And Wasserman is a Deutsche Bank managing director and the head of equity-derivatives-flow sales.

8. Billy Joel and Alexis Roderick

Roderick is a former Morgan Stanley risk manager while Joel is a renowned singer-songwriter, pianist and composer who has an estimated net worth of $180 million.

9. John Molner and Katie Couric

Couric is known as a broadcast journalist and talk-show host while her banker husband, Molner, is a partner at Brown Brothers Harriman.

10. John Charles Layfield aka John Bradshaw Layfield and Meredith Whitney

Following the closure of hedge fund Kenbelle Capital, Whitney is now managing an equity portfolio with $800 million in assets at Bermuda-based insurer Arch Capital Group. Her husband Layfield is a retired WWE professional wrestler and a Fox News financial analyst.
