“Game of Thrones” Season 6 is set to launch soon and fans are already excited about the upcoming plot and fate of the characters. A new teaser hinted that all characters will most likely have a bleak future.

The footage lasted one minute and 19 seconds, set in the Hall of Faces. A number of dead characters were featured with their severed heads and closed eyes, speaking in a telepathic manner. Ed Stark (Sean Bean) was shown first, saying that the man who passes the sentence should swing the sword. Rob Stark (Steve Madden) was seen next, saying that he has won every battle, but is losing this war.

Catelyn Stark’s (Michelle Fairley) head came next, and she said to show “them” how it feels to lose what they love. Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson) followed, stating that everyone was his to torment. Jon Snow’s (Kit Harington) severed head said telepathically that the long night has come and the dead arrive with it. The last head shown was Tyrion Lannister’s (Peter Dinklage), which suggested that he may be among the characters who will die in the new season.

E! Online wrote that Season 6 of “Game of Thrones” may be among the most anticipated TV season in years, due to the cliffhanger ending of the previous season where Jon Snow was stabbed and left to die by his comrades. Many fans speculated that Snow may still be alive or come in another form soon since he has been spotted with his long hair at a number of filming locations. However, everything remains uncertain until the character is finally shown in April 2016.

Season 6 is also one of the most exciting in the series because it will be the first time that the show will not be following a book that people already read. Author George R. R. Martin has not yet finished the next book in the series, “A Song of Ice and Fire,” but will be involved in the filming process.

According to Coming Soon, Ian McShane will guest star in the new season. In the past season, Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) struggled to maintain power in King’s Landing against the Tyrells and the Sparrows. Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) is also struggling to stay in power across the sea while meeting a new band of horsemen.

“Game of Thrones” Season 6 returns April 24 on HBO. Jon Snow’s fate is set to be unveiled soon.
