In “The Blacklist” Season 3 Episode 15, titled “Drexel,” Liz (Megan Boone) will be struggling to decide whether she should put her baby up for adoption and go away with Tom (Ryan Eggold). Red (James Spader) does his best to convince her to stay.

“After the founder of a successful internet start-up is found dead, Red recognizes the crime scene as the work of a notorious killer," the synopsis read. "Liz and the task force work with Red to track the murderer through a dangerous underground news source. Meanwhile, Tom faces a life threatening situation, while Liz considers options for her baby."

At the end of “The Blacklist” Season 3 Episode 14, titled “Lady Ambrosia,” viewers were left with several questions. By chance, is Katarina Rostova still alive? Is Red Liz's stepfather? What could have been the contents of the file that Lady Ambrosia handed Red? Is Tom going to survive his gunshot wounds?

Melty noted that although the synopsis did not reveal the main villain for the upcoming episode, Gina Zanetakos shared that she was working with The Major, so he could be the man who ordered the killing of Tom.

In the promo trailer below, Red does his best to convince Liz that she should not go away with Tom since he is “reckless, dangerous and not worthy of being her husband and raising her child.” Red actually has a point because Tom’s dangerous mission only deemed himself as a threat and put Liz and her baby in a more vulnerable state.

Liz initially suspected that Red was the one who wanted to hurt him, but her doubts subsided as soon as the two of them searched for the person who attacked Tom. There is a likelihood that Tom might die, but many speculate that he will survive the previous ordeal. Regardless of his fate, he showed that he was not ready and capable of being a father to Liz’s baby.

According to Carter Matt, “Drexel” will look back at another relevant part of Liz’s background. More details about Liz’s mother and her fate may be revealed. Details on Tom would also come out in the open and if Red was involved in his shooting. Red appears to know more about Liz’s mother than he has told her. Her mom may even be alive.

“Drexel” will air on Feb. 18 on NBC.
