A new update on “Fallout 4” confirmed that there will be three new DLCs to look forward to in 2016.

According to Ars Technica, out of the three announced DLCs, only one has a description in the meantime. The first appeared to be story-driven. Dubbed Far Harbor, the first DLC will become available in May 2016 at $25. Players will go to the ocean to look for a missing woman as well as a hidden colony of synths in a case provided by Valentine Detective Agency.

The setting will be on a mysterious island off the coast of Maine. Players have the option of working to bring peace to Far Harbor at a certain expense. Far Harbor will feature the biggest landmass for an add-on that Bethesda ever made. There will be lethal creatures, dungeons, new faction quests, new armor and weapons.

The two other DLCs are called “Automatron,” which will launch in March, and “Wasteland Workshop,” which will release in April 2016. Automatron” will be priced at $10, while “Wasteland Workshop” will cost $5, per Engadget.

The two latter DLCs will delve more on companion-related upgrades. “Automatron” will work with robots released by the evil Mechanist. Players can create and customize their own mechanical backups using gathered parts from the robots they destroy.

The third DLC, “Wasteland Workshop,” will deal with trappable pets,” with players being able to design and prepare cages to catch live creatures that can be tamed or made to battle each other in a post-apocalyptic arena. There will also be new design elements introduced to customize player settlements, such as taxidermy, letter kits and nixie tube lighting, among others.

Bethesda's blog stated that PC players can access the “Fallout 4” DLC content early and for free if they get to be approved beta testers. Game developer Bethesda added that the DLC beta testers can keep all their content and progress from the first time they gain access until the official retail launch.

In 2015, the season pass cost $30 and Bethesda plans for the total DLC library to cost over $60 in 2016. The season pass will reportedly move up to $50 on March 1. Players who previously purchased the season pass will no longer have to add more. Aside from the DLC announcement, the “survival” mode of the game will also be fully overhauled. The creation mode will be fully completed and there will be additional performance patches for the console and PC versions of the game.
