Zack Snyder remains at the top of Warner Bros. trusted helmers list as the "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" director confirms an official production date for "Justice League-Part 1."

It appears as though Snyder, the man behind the "Man of Steel," will continue to work as "the guiding force" of the expanding DC Cinematic Universe after he was confirmed to helm the two-part film about DC's most popular superhero team.

In spite of worries that the "Dawn of Justice" would not be good enough an intro to the formation of the "Justice League," Snyder and the studio have officially announced that the first movie will begin filming on April 11.

Apparently, Snyder and Warner Bros. had been preparing for the two-part movie while fans were worrying that the film would be scrapped, just like the one which should have been directed by George Miller.

"It was a little bit of an 'about time' moment, and I don't blame [the studio] for feeling that way, because it's a long time coming," Snyder explained, adding that working on "Justice League" had been a "creative hurdle" for him and the studio.

"It seems like an easy thing to do at first glance, the idea that, 'Oh, we just get the rest of the superheroes in there.' But you have to [establish] a world where they can exist," he continued.

Based on Warner's official statements, the film "Dawn of Justice," featuring a bout between two of DC's most famous heroes, will also be an avenue of cameos and appearances from some of the other members of the "Justice League," laying ground work for the highly anticipated two-part flick.

While Wonder Woman played by Gal Gadot would have a bit more participation in the film, others, like Ezra Miller's the Flash, Jason Momoa's Aquaman and Ray Fisher's Cyborg, will only make brief appearances.

Of course, there will still be so many Justice League heroes that need to be incorporated in the slowly-but-surely expanding cinematic universe of DC Comics that Warner Bros. could not possibly back out now that they have already planned out the solo films for Wonder Woman and Aquaman.

Plus, there is the fact that just a few months after "Dawn of Justice's" theatrical debut, Warner Bros. will also be releasing "Suicide Squad," an anti-hero flick featuring Jared Leto's unique version of the Joker as well as Will Smith's Deadshot and Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn.

With all of this considered, Warner Bros. has too many potent plans to even consider pulling the plug.
