Many are waiting for the next line of MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. However, Apple remains mum and stern about keeping things under wrap. Yet, these gadgets continue to make headlines. New reports suggest that these powerful laptops will arrive soon.

New MacBook Arriving This March

Forbes reported that the MacBook Pro 2016 and MacBook Air 2016 are due anytime soon. The latest MacBook Pro Retina is still equipped with Haswell processors, which many believe should be updated with Intel's Skylake because the new laptops on the market are already using it.

Meanwhile, MacBook Air is long overdue for another upgrade. The powerful Apple notebook is highly regarded due to its long battery life, but it has looked the same for several years already. It needs a physical makeover to keep up with the trends in the market.

Per Christian Today, there are rumors that these laptops will be unveiled this March. According to VineReport, the Cupertino-based tech giant is planning for a March event that is scheduled on the 15th or 20th. If these reports are true, the new laptops will be available in a few weeks time.

Is MacBook 2016 Equipped with Skylake?

According to MobiPicker, other prominent computer manufacturers, including HP, Dell and Lenovo have already used Skylake, Intel's sixth generation core processor in their new laptops. However, Apple's MacBook still uses Broadwell.

Thus, much is expected from MacBook Pro and Air. There are rumors that the new laptops will be equipped with Skylake.

Why Upgrade

If you are considering an upgrade, you should not hesitate to get the new MacBook Pro 2016 or MacBook Air 2016 because these devices offer a brand-new experience that you will surely enjoy.

Latin Post previously reported that the new MacBook will have a slimmer frame, improved graphics and RAM. It will also have a battery and a powerful processor.

Latinos Health previously reported that the Skylake platform is packed with great deals.

It can make the CPU faster by 10 to 20 percent as well as the integrated graphics by 16 to 41 percent. Moreover, it is equipped with a smaller "14-nanometer architecture for efficient power usage." It can also increase battery life by as much as 30 percent.

In a separate report from Latinos Health, there are also rumors that the new MacBook 2016 will arrive with the TouchScreen feature. "I think [a touch Mac] is inevitable. There's nothing from the supply chain or from Apple that supports that right now- I just think it's inevitable," said Ryan Reith, IDC program director per Forbes.

At this time, Apple has not confirmed any of these details yet. Thus, fans should take these reports with a grain of salt. However, if Apple is indeed holding a big event this month, some of these reports might be confirmed.
