American rapper Pitbull and fellow singer Jennifer Lopez have developed a bond that started when the two collaborated for the 2011 hit single "On the floor" as part of the latter's seventh album, "Love?"

The two friends reunited for a performance as J-Lo made a surprise guest appearance at Pitbull's Time of Our Lives concert last Saturday, March 12.

Pitbull's Las Vegas Residency

The performance was part of Mr. 305's series of shows at The Axis at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. This will be the second time Pitbull will be having his residency at the Sin City and it will last for just seven days on special arrangement.

To mark this second outing of the rapper in the Las Vegas scene, the city decided to declare Friday, March 11 as "Pitbull Day."

The Axis at Planet Hollywood has been the go-to venue for some of the brightest stars in the entertainment industry for their concerts and residency in Las Vegas, such as Britney Spears' Vegas residency called "Britney: Piece of Me."

J-Lo's own residency, which is called "All I Have," was also held there back in January. This is the reason why after the performance at Pitbull's show, J-Lo also captioned on another Instagram post, "Back home... At the #AXIS at#planethollywood Gracias Armandito #Pitbull #familia #OntheFloor."

The Rapper Criticizes Trump

Meanwhile, the man of the hour also took a swipe at GOP frontrunner Donald Trump during his concert to the delight of the crowd. "We need to take all the [expletive] energy in here to make certain that Trump is not elected!" Pitbull said.

He is one of the latest celebrities who have come to express disapproval of Trump's presidential bid. The real estate tycoon has been criticized by some people for his stern stance on immigration and has been referred to as both racist and a xenophobe. The American rapper, who hails from Miami, Florida is of Cuban descent with immigrant parents from the Caribbean island nation.
