Joe Giudice is rumored to be "settling in" at the Federal Correctional Institution where he is serving out his 41-month sentence, though he is reported to be desperate to see his family and wife/TV star of 'Real Housewives of New Jersey'.

"I visited with Joe on Friday and he is doing as well as can be expected," attorney James J. Leonard recently said of his client. "I would say that he is adjusting very well. I know that he misses Teresa and their four daughters immensely, but Joe will get through this, just like Teresa did."

Joe recently began serving out his sentence on bank fraud related charges, turning himself in to authorities just weeks after his "Real Housewives of New Jersey" reality TV star wife was released after serving nearly a year on similar charges.

Teresa Plans on Visiting Husband as Soon as she can

Leonard added Teresa plans on visiting her husband as soon as she is approved by prison officials to do so. He estimated that all should be in order over the next several days.

A feisty Leonard also slammed reports Joe turned reported himself in to prison officials while under the influence.

"I was with Joe all morning up until the time he was taken into custody and I can tell you with absolute certainty that he was not drunk," said Leonard, adding that rumors of his client being stationed in maximum security as punishment were also "more fiction."

Joe and Apollo Nida Serving time at Same Prison

Joe is reported to have already made several acquaintances while behind bars, including meeting up with fellow reality TV star Apollo Nida, the husband of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Phaedra Parks. Nida is also serving time on bank fraud related charges.

"Joe said Apollo was an absolute gentleman and helped him get acclimated and that they had a nice talk," Leonard said.

Meanwhile, Parks recently indicated she reached out to Teresa to encourage her to remain storing and focused.
